Hair Loss Treatment Products Are Not For Me!

by Gary Tooth

Ok, so when do men stop worrying about loosing their hair and stop wasting time and money on all the new-fangled hair loss treatment programs out there, most of which do little or nothing to restore a receding hairline. Im talking from personal experience here and if Ive got any advice to pass on its this; if it really bothers you that much, try a few products, seek a little professional guidance regarding hair loss treatment, but dont do what I did and let the darn thing occupy your life for years and years and years.

Not only did I let the hair loss issue live in my head rent free (and Im a landlord!), but everyone around me was getting sick and tired of me constantly going on and on about my missing bits. At the time I didnt care and held a little resentment towards those with a full crop telling me not to worry. But in hind sight, I can see I wasted years of my life simply because I refused to accept something that I couldnt change. Dont get me wrong here folks, its not all bad news and some hair loss treatment products do work for some people, but I think there needs to be a cut off point for the sake of your own wellbeing.

I did go through a phase where I prescribed my very own hair loss treatment plan of action, and some of you will relate to what Im about to write here. I thought that if I grew it long in those places it was still growing (namely back and sides), then all I would have to do would be to pull the long hair over the bald patches and cement it down with extra strong gels and sprays. Looking back at the photos from that time I cannot tell you how ridiculous I looked. I was so wrapped up in my own little world of vanity that I couldnt see it. I found out some years later that I had been affectionately nicknamed Pedal Bin.

The day of acceptance came out of a fit of rage funnily enough. Id just had this huge argument with my girlfriend. She had threatened to split up with me if I didnt stop going on and on about my hairless head. She stormed away and told me to call her only when I had dealt with my issues.

I was furious, how could she not understand, Oh, easy I thought! I mean how many bald headed women do we know? Ill show her. I went home and shaved it all off. Well, all the thick growth around the back and sides that was. The idea was so that she could see just how grotesque I would look with totally no hair at all. But boy, did I get a surprise. When Id done and held my head up to the mirror, I saw this smart clean cut young man staring back at me who looked fresh and respectable.

All those years of worry! All the upsets and obsessions. All that money, research, and trail with hair loss treatment products. And all the selfish, self centered, self seeking behavior that had become part of who I was. And for what? Vanity I guess.

Oh how my life has changed now, and if I can pass anything on to my fellow baldies, regardless of your age, its this; try some hair loss treatment cures and remedies if you have to, but dont hold your breath as there arent any miracle cures out there. If you cant find anything to stop, slow down, or rejuvenate growth, then do yourself a favorer and keep what bits you do have short to the bone. Tight, neatly cropped hair or a shaved head not only gives you a fresh look, but it feels great too. Heck, there are millions or bald heads out there through choice!

Hair loss treatment is worth a try, but loosing your hair is not a terminal illness. You dont wake up every morning throwing up. It doesnt give you stomach cramps, or back problems. Hair loss is quite natural among men and you owe it to yourself to be good to you. If you enjoy being you, warts and all, then others will enjoy being around you. You may not be able to get your hair back, but you sure as heck can get your life back.

Propecia: Confront Male Pattern Baldness

by Alan Anderson

Is hair loss making you the butt of everyone’s joke? Hair loss can be very embarrassing especially among men. Male pattern baldness is one of the most common forms of hair loss among men. It starts at the hairline, gradually receding to form an ‘M’ shape. Furthermore, it makes the remaining hair thinner and shorter, eventually leaving a horse-shoe pattern of hair around the sides. Male pattern baldness should not be thought of as a medical disorder though it may cause stress and anxiety. Men with a family history of hair loss from either side of your family are more likely to suffer from hair loss concerns. If you are stuck in a hair loss whirlpool, Propecia can lend out a hand to pull you out.

Propecia is an oral prescription drug which is the first FDA endorsed pill to effectively treat male pattern baldness on the vertex and anterior mid-scalp area. It works by inhibiting the formation of DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) in your scalp. DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) is an active metabolite of the hormone testosterone in the body, which is responsible for specific male gender characteristics. It also causes shrinkage of hair follicles until it no longer creates visible hair. This activity ceases the further shrinking of the hair follicles, thereby restoring the vigor of the hair.

This medication should be consumed on a daily basis. The customary dosage of Propecia tablets is 1mg, which can be taken with or without meals. Optimistic results are perceivable after the regular usage of Propecia pill. In accordance to studies, Propecia is effective among men with mild or moderate hair loss in the age group of 18-41, facilitating hair re-growth on the vertex and middle front of the scalp area. However, its effectiveness for receding hair lines and temples is not yet known. Propecia is exclusively formulated for men and is not recommended for women or children.

Expectant women or women who may be potentially expectant should avoid contact with crushed or broken Propecia pill as it may source abnormalities in the sex organs of a male child. Side effects of Propecia are obscure yet it is important to consult a doctor and get well acquainted with possible side effects before embarking upon Propecia medication. Some of the Propecia side effects are such as allergic reactions, swelling of lips and face amid others.

Emergence of online pharmacies, can offer men dealing with male pattern baldness an easy access to treatment of this type of hair loss. It can give respite to men who find it embarrassing to ask the pharmacist for Propecia, as your order along with personal details is kept discreet. Propecia is accessible only through a doctor’s prescription. Propecia medication should be shelved at room temperature, away from moisture.

Hair Loss Prevention Product: Learn it and Use it

Hair Loss Prevention Product: Learn it and Use it

by Timothy Garth

Preventing hair loss is easier than stopping and reversing the loss of hair. A lot more products are available for this and it can turn out to be a lot cheaper for you as well. The best way to use these products is by detecting your hair loss before it gets worse. There are many symptoms you can look for that mean you are loosing your hair. Generally this can cause you to loose hair:

  • Emotional and physical stress
  • Genetic heritage
  • Irregularities in your immune system
  • Bad nutrition
  • Imbalance of hormonal levels
  • Allergy to some beauty products
  • Harsh treatments to your scalp
  • Chemotherapy and radiation
  • Drug use
  • Depression
  • Illness
  • Blood loss
  • Thyroid disorders

It is perfectly normal to loose some hair during your day. A loss from 50 to 150 hairs could happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. So don’t panic if you evidence this. However, any one of the causes mentioned before can make you loose lots of hair in a matter of minutes. The most severe cases are those people that while under a lot of stress during the day, they suddenly start loosing hair out of no where. Yes it can happen.I have a friend that suffers from this. Every time he would have a fight or break up with his girlfriend, he would then start loosing hair from one moment to another. This was most shocking for the both of us! But he came up with a very conventional, yet original idea to tackle this problem. He shaved his head! But this might not work for everyone now would it?

Some women might consider suicide before that, right? I say to you girls, don’t kill yourself! Because there are effective ways to prevent your hair from falling. Some hair loss can actually be stopped if you address the before-mentioned causes. So if you’re in stress or have a bad diet, try eating healthier and relaxing some more. The best answers of course will be given to you by your doctor, but every year a new hair loss treatment comes up to the light that just might work for you; man or woman. So don’ts despair and bring your hopes up, because millions of people are working really hard to find your solution!

After trying many hair loss remedies Timothy Garth finally found one that worked for him and would like to share his hair loss treatments with you so you don’t have to take the long road in looking for something that works.
